The Two Truths in Indian Buddhism with Sonam Thakchoe
2024 Monthly Study Program with Dr. Sonam Thakchoe Next Meeting Saturday, April 6
10 am - 12 AEDT ONLINE only. Join via ZOOM link HERE
Dr. Sonam Thakchoe is a former Tibetan monk trained in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition for fifteen years. He obtained his PhD (2002) from the University of Tasmania, Shastri (BA, 1995) and Acharya (MA, 1997) with double majors on the history of Indo-Tibetan philosophy and religious studies from Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, India. He has taught Buddhist philosophy at the University of Tasmania for the past eight years and is now a full-time lecturer in Asian and comparative philosophy.
We are delighted and indeed most fortunate to welcome Sonam once again to the CTCT Program and appreciate deeply his generosity and the wonderful wisdom, insights, and humor that his presentations offer us in our pursuit of Dharma understanding.
An intermediate-level course of study suitable for students familiar with the topics of interdependence and emptiness.
